One Year On: What a Year It’s Been at Bensons

One Year On: What a Year It’s Been at Bensons

It’s been almost a year since we unveiled our new Bensons look, and it feels like the perfect excuse to stop for a moment and look at just how much has happened since.

Here are just a few of the highlights!

We Launched Bensons Premium Sodas

One of our biggest recent launches has been our brand-new Bensons Premium Soda range which arrived last month.

The range started with two recipes created by Lexi in her kitchen: Wild Elderflower Pressé and Strawberry, Cucumber & Mint Soda.

They’re a slightly different addition to the Bensons family, created as delicious adult soft drinks that are lovely served on their own, but also work brilliantly as part of a cocktail or non-alcoholic serve. It’s been really exciting to introduce something new to the range and to see the response from customers so far.

Lots of New Places to Find Bensons

Another lovely part of the past year has been seeing Bensons popping up in more and more places.

We’ve welcomed some fantastic new stockists, including SOHO Coffee, Millets Farm Shop, Hermès on Bond Street, Otis & Belle, Stratton House Hotel and Country Kiwi, to mention just a few.

We’ve been incredibly lucky to welcome lots of new customers across retail, hospitality, farm shops, cafés and visitor attractions.

There’s still something very exciting about spotting a Bensons bottle or can in a new fridge, and every new stockist means even more people get to discover our drinks.

A huge thank you to all the businesses that have chosen to work with us over the past year.

Growing the Bensons Team

As Bensons has grown, our team has been growing alongside it.

We’ve expanded our sales team with Harriet as Head of Sales and John as Fractional Sales Director, bringing more experience into the business to help look after our existing customers and introduce Bensons to new retailers, wholesalers and hospitality businesses.

Lots may have changed since Lexi and Bean first started pressing apples, but the people and relationships behind Bensons are still a huge part of what makes the business tick.

Getting Out and About

It definitely hasn’t all happened from Bensons HQ either.

Over the past year we’ve been out on the road at some fantastic events and trade shows, catching up with customers, suppliers and familiar faces, as well as meeting plenty of new ones.

We headed to Cereals and attended the NFAN, CHF and Inn Express Trade Shows, giving the team lots of opportunities to talk all things Bensons.

We also took part in the Westmorland Charity Walk, getting the walking shoes on and supporting a fantastic cause along the way.

And one particularly fun evening saw us swapping meetings for padel rackets at our Bensons Padel Event.

Together with Padel Playbook, we brought some of our suppliers and the Bensons team together for an evening full of exercise, plenty of laughs, a delicious BBQ and, of course, lots of Bensons drinks to keep everyone refreshed!

Getting to spend proper time with the people we work with is something we really value, and events like these are always a highlight.

Bensons in Cotswold Life

We’re incredibly proud of our Cotswolds roots, so being featured not once, but twice in Cotswold Life over the past year was particularly special.

The Cotswolds has been part of the Bensons story from the very beginning. From our early days selling juice at farmers’ markets and festivals to the growing business we have today, our local community and the brilliant growers, businesses and people around us have all played their part.

Seeing the Bensons story shared with Cotswold Life readers was a lovely moment for the whole team.

Great Taste & Great British Food Awards

We’ve had a few reasons to celebrate on the awards front too.

Our Winter Mulled Apple Juice and Sparkling Raspberry & Apple both received Great Taste Awards in 2026, which we were absolutely delighted about.

Our Sparkling Rhubarb & Apple was also named a Finalist in the Great British Food Awards 2026, giving our Sparkling range another fantastic bit of recognition.

We make our drinks because we love them and want our customers to love them too, but having them tasted and recognised alongside so many brilliant British food and drink producers always means a lot to the team.

What a Difference a Year Makes

When we launched our new Bensons look this time last year, we knew it marked the start of an exciting new chapter for the business.

Looking back now, it’s amazing to see just how much has happened since.

New drinks, new stockists, new members of the team, brilliant events, national recognition and plenty of new people discovering Bensons along the way.

But underneath the new look and all that growth, the important things haven’t changed. We’re still a family business, still proudly based in the Cotswolds and still making drinks that we genuinely love.

Here’s to everything we’ve achieved since the rebrand, and to whatever the next year brings!
