Exploring the Cotswolds This Bank Holiday? Look Out for Bensons
The August Bank Holiday is a very good excuse to get out and about in the Cotswolds.
Whether you’re planning a family day out, meeting friends for lunch, wandering around a farm shop or simply heading somewhere lovely for the afternoon, there are plenty of places to explore. And, happily, quite a few places where you can find a Bensons while you’re there.
We’re based here in the Cotswolds, so seeing our drinks being enjoyed at some of the places we know and love locally is always rather special.
Here are a few to add to your Bank Holiday plans.
Westonbirt Arboretum
If a day outdoors is on the cards, Westonbirt Arboretum is a lovely place to spend a few hours.
With miles of paths, beautiful trees and plenty of space to explore, it’s perfect for a Bank Holiday wander. And when it’s time to stop for a drink, keep an eye out for Bensons while you’re there.
Burford Garden Company
A visit to Burford Garden Company can quite easily turn into an afternoon in its own right.
There are interiors, plants, food, gifts and plenty to browse, making it a good stop whether the Bank Holiday weather is glorious or a little less cooperative.
And, of course, you can find Bensons there too.
Sudeley Castle & Gardens
For beautiful gardens, plenty of history and a proper day out, Sudeley Castle in Winchcombe is hard to beat.
There’s lots to explore across the castle and grounds, and if you’re visiting this Bank Holiday, you can pick up a Bensons along the way.
Dunkertons Organic Cider
Just outside Cheltenham, Dunkertons is another great local stop if your weekend plans involve good food and drink.
Alongside its organic ciders, food and events, you’ll also find Bensons available, making it a good place to call into during a day out around Cheltenham and the surrounding Cotswolds.
Blenheim Palace
A little further east, Blenheim Palace is always worth making a day of.
With the palace, parkland, gardens and plenty of space to explore, there’s more than enough to fill a Bank Holiday outing. You can also keep an eye out for Bensons while you’re there.
National Trust
From historic houses and gardens to countryside walks and family days out, there are plenty of places to explore across the Cotswolds, with a Bensons making a very welcome stop along the way.
A Little Taste of the Cotswolds
For us, Bensons has always been closely connected to this part of the world. We’re based on a farm in the Cotswolds, work with British growers and love seeing our drinks stocked by other local businesses and attractions.
So if you’re out exploring this Bank Holiday weekend, whether that means farm shops, castles, gardens or a family day out, there’s a good chance you won’t be too far from a Bensons.
Keep an eye out for us in the fridge, to keep little and big ones hydrated on your bank holiday adventures!
