Easter Activities to Eat, Drink and Make

We hope you have been enjoying the sunshine this week!

Whether you’ve met with friends for a coffee in the park or just getting out in the garden with a refreshing smoothie, the future is looking bright.

With the Bank Holiday upon us, we thought we would share some activities to keep us all busy over Easter;

 

Marshmallow Easter Bunnies
MARSHMALLOW EASTER BUNNIES
Ingredients:
x12 Pink/ White Marshmallows l x18 Mini Pink / White Marshmallows l Black and Pink Writing Icing.

Method:
1. Draw a bunny face on the side of the larger marshmallow. 2. With a clean pair of scissors or knife, cut the mini marshmallow in half long-ways. 3. Use the pink icing to ‘glue’ the mini marshmallows to the top of larger marshmallow to create Ears. 4. Cut the white mini marshmallow in half horizontally and use the Icing to ‘glue’ on a tail 5. Enjoy!

Elderflower Bellini
 ELDERFLOWER BELLINI
Ingredients:
15ml Bottle Green Elderflower Cordial l 50ml Bensons Whole Pressed Apple Juice l Prosecco l Strawberry and Mint to garnish
Method:
1. Add the cordial, juice and ice into a shaker or jar and shake together. 2. Pour into a champagne flute and top with the prosecco. 3. Add a few springs of mint and a strawberry to the glass to garnish.

Spring Wreath

 SPRING WREATH
Now we can welcome friends to our Gardens, why not brighten your home with a warm welcome by adding a beautiful Easter wreath.

What you need:
Plain willow wreath l 1 Meter length of cream pompom ribbon l Floristry wire l Craft Glue l Gypsophila and floral additions of your choice.

Method:
1.
Insert your flowers equally throughout the wreath. 2. Wrap the Gypsophila around the wreath between the flowers and secure with floristry wire. 3. Wrap a 1m length of pompom ribbon around the wreath and secure with floristry wire or craft glue. 4. Fill in any gaps with remaining flowers. 5. Using the craft glue, attach the ribbon for hanging to the back of your wreath. Once dry, hang over your fence / door.
