National Picnic Month

National Picnic Month

As the weather gets warmer and the rain starts to disappear, more and more families are gathering up their baskets and blankets to set off to some beautiful parts of the country to enjoy a delicious picnic. Whether we pack meals for sporting events, birthday celebrations, or a weekend of camping, picnics are an excellent way to enjoy the company of family and friends away from home. Finger sandwiches, mini cakes, and delicious drinks are all part of a great picnic, but the best part is being surrounded by the people you love.

Fun Fact: Picnic was originally a 17th century French word, picque-nique – meaning a social gathering where each attendee brings a share of food.

How can you celebrate picnic month? It’s easy! Get your family and friends together at a favourite nearby park and bring your favourite foods that can be eaten cold for a traditional picnic, or bring a small grill and prepare warm delicious food on the spot! Don’t forget to take along some delicious drinks from our Bensons range.

We’ve been out and about celebrating Picnic Month ourselves and we would love to see your pictures! If you enjoy a picnic this summer, make sure to hashtag #bensonsthejuicers and we’ll share on our stories 😊
