Family Games to play this Christmas and New Year!
This year has undoubtedly been very tough for a lot of us, and we are all living our lives slightly differently – but Christmas is a time where we can all be together whether that is in our home or via a video call. We have listed a few Christmas games below to play with families whether you’re at home in your bubble, or catching up with family over Zoom.

Santa Limbo! - Have participants put a "Santa Belly" under their shirt using a pillow. Place a limbo stick at a starting height. Then line up, and one by one try to limbo underneath (with the Santa belly) until everyone has tried. Once the group have gone through once, slightly lower the stick and have those who made it through - go again. Continually lower the stick until one winner remains!

Zoom Scavenger Hunt - Virtual scavenger hunts are fun and active ways to spend time on a Zoom call. Find a downloadable scavenger hunt list online and send it to your Christmas Zoom Group. The house that brings back the most items - wins! A bonus point for the team that do it the fastest.

Stocking Guessing Game - First, you need a host to put random items in a stocking. Once it's stuffed, tie a ribbon or string around the top of the stocking so that no one can peek. Sit in a circle and pass it around to let everyone feel what's inside. Give them note cards so that they can write down their guesses. The person who guesses the most correct items wins.

Online Holiday Bingo – Create a 5x5 grid on your computer and add Christmas words or pictures to each square. Save and repeat the same process by mixing up the words and pictures, but making sure to add some more in. Email a different grid to each player and have the list of all the words or pictures used. When all the players are online – start by reading off the words or pictures. One by one each player will cross off their squares. The first team to get a row wins the round, the first team to cross out everything on their grid – wins!
