A quick and easy recipe for a homemade version of Nando’s Peri Peri Chicken Breasts. Perfect for a summer evening!

Don’t quite feel comfortable heading out to your local Nando's? No problem at all. Below you can find a recipe to make your very own version! Partnered with our Raspberry & Lime Ciders, you can recreate the perfect Nando's experience in the comfort of your own home.
You will need:
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon chilli flakes (or to taste)
2 cloves garlic crushed or grated
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon oregano
¼ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
Black pepper to taste
2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
To make the perfect homemade marinade, mix together a little olive oil, some smoked paprika, oregano, chilli flakes & garlic.
Season with a pinch of salt and pepper and spread the paste all over the chicken breasts.
In an ideal world, you would cover and put the chicken breasts in the fridge for a couple of hours to marinate – this allows the marinade to get right into the chicken and give it a richer flavour. But if time is of the essence just skip this step and cook the chicken breasts straight away.
If you decide to cook the chicken breasts in a griddle pan – you will get those lovely char marks and wonderful smoky flavour, which associates with Nando’s style chicken. Plus, they can be cooked in 15 minutes!
However, if you prefer, you can grill, oven bake – or even barbecue these delicious chicken breasts.
And then it's time to serve!
Our favourite additions to give us the perfect Nando's experience is some delicious spicy rice, coleslaw, squeeze of lemon and our refreshing Raspberry and Lime Cider. The perfect summer evening combo!
