Waitrose Summer Festival

We have just about recovered from a fantastic 3 days at the first ever Waitrose Summer Festival which was held at Waitrose’s farm, Leckford Estate.

The Leckford Estate is a 4,000 acre working farm near Stockbridge, Hampshire. The Estate follows the philosophy of treading lightly, treating

people fairly, living well and championing British Farming and produce.

The food, drink and music festival brought together Waitrose producers, celebrity chefs and experts to offer customers the very best in British Food and drink and the Waitrose experience. Festivalgoers were able to enjoy music and a wide range of activities suitable for all ages including cookery classes, yoga classes, wine tasting, gin tasting, maize mazes, face painting, fly fishing, mushroom picking, and a tour of the Waitrose Farm via tractor!

We were based in the Food and Drink Village which had an array of pop ups including Innocent, Bakedin, Candy Kittens, Tea Pigs, Frill, Hendricks Gin, Pimms, Whole Earth, Harry Sloane Chocolate, Enjoy Chocolate, Rude Health, Dorset Cereals, Organix and many more.

Within the Food & Drink village we were lucky enough to be tactically placed between two chocolate stands, to our left we had Enjoy Raw chocolate who are a premium organic chocolate company who specialise in vegan, gluten free, soya and refined sugar free raw chocolate. And to our right we had Hans Sloane, who produce premium posh hot chocolate… yum!

We were delighted with the feedback we got from sampling all our products, the stars of the show were certainly our brand new Eccentric English Raspberry & Lime cider and our Totally Fruity Apple, Gooseberry and Elderflower juice.

We are very much looking forward to being invited back next year and we hope to see you there!
