ASK Italian’s Thanks a Million
Team Bensons/Wheres Wally (Liberty, Will and Jeremy) have now recovered from ASK Italians “Thanks a Million” fundraising event. A fantastic day of sports activities and team building to celebrate fundraising achievements of over £1,000,000 for the fabulous Great Ormond Street Hospital.
At the compulsory fancy dress event, there was plenty for everyone of all abilities to get involved with- whether they wanted to take part in more competitive events, like the 100m sprint and relay race or have some fun on the “It’s a Knockout” style activities or just come along to support colleagues.
On the day, ASK employees and fellow suppliers were split into 12 teams of approximately 40 in each. When we arrived at the ground we signed up to the events we wished to take part in – ranging from Hungry Hippos, Jumping Beans (Jeremy was GREAT at this!!), Human Table Football, Penalty Shoot Out and many more…team Bensons decided to play to their strengths and decided to opt of out the more competitive events 😉.
Our Chilly Billy bike also made an appearance at the event to help raise additional ££’s on the day and cool down contestants! See below for images of Will aka Odlaw from Where’s Wally looking rather suspicious on the bike.
Last but not least.. where did we place? 8th…. We are sure we were robbed and judges must have miscalculated our final scores but we wont be sore losers as it was for charity! To find out more about Great Ormond Street Hospital and they amazing things they do look at their website here.
